Mahmood Mazhar
Chief Executive
Mahmood is a qualified accountant with over 20 years of business experience in the UK. He holds a Masters degree in business administration and has a wealth of business acumen within the industries of leisure, retail and property; including a previous stake in an international food manufacturing business, being integral to its fortification. Since becoming involved with the telecoms industry his strategic focus and brand development has enhanced Core Telecom’s portfolio and profile.
Zia Rizvi
Finance Director
Zia is a chartered accountant, and has held senior positions with Veolia UK PLC, DG PLC as well as Marks and Spencer PLC as head of logistics. He led the procurement team for the Central European investment group, Penta Investments and has also had success in the South Asian business market. He joined Core in 2008.
Sam Richardson
Senior Engineer
With 10 years of diverse IT & telecom’s experience, Sam joined Core Telecom as Project Manager in early 2010. He has previously worked with multi-national manufacturers and companies, installing and supporting telecommunication platforms.
Paul Turner
Managing Director
Paul is an accountant and has gained extensive senior experience with Compass Group, QMH and Hilton International, as well as developing businesses in the South Asian market over the last ten years. As one of the founding partners of Core, Paul is responsible for setting business parameters and commercial direction.
David Hart
Sales Director
David is an engineering graduate who has previously managed a wide range of accounts for BT Wholesale. His role encompassed startup Telco’s to Tier 1 Carriers. His last position with BT oversaw BskyB and Carphone Warehouse accounts. Reporting to the Main Board, David is committed to driving new sales opportunities.
Chris Xavier
Marketing & SEO
Chris is an Economics & Business Strategy graduate from Leeds. After leaving a career in Finance, Chris now manages Core and its associated brands on and offline marketing. He joined in 2008.
Duane Dalldorf
Chief Engineer
Duane is a telecoms engineer with 11 years experience working for manufacturers, carriers and telecommunications, with both TDM and VOIP. His team is responsible for Core Telecom’s equipment and network. He joined Core in 2007
Nick Dixon
Commercial Director
Nick has a wealth of sales, commercial and regulatory experience gathered from spending nearly 15 years in the Telecoms industry. He has previously held senior management positions within Cable & Wireless, Redstone, Tiscali, Kingston Communications and Redwood Technologies before moving to Core Telecom as Sales Director. Nick has since been promoted to the main board as Commercial Director and is committed to driving business growth and working on the strategic direction of the business.
Gareth Davies
Senior Account Manager
Gareth is an IT professional with experience of running his own businesses. He has a vast range of technical knowledge with commercial acumen. Gareth ensures that all large commercial clients and resellers are being managed effectively.
Steve Cordingley
Telecoms Consultant
Previously being a Core Telecom Director, Steve has a vast knowledge of telecoms, holding more than 20 years worth of experience in the industry. He is an invaluable resource to the team, supporting in an advisory capacity, the future business development and strategy of Core.
